About Counting Day
Each year, we close out the Diaper Drive with a special event called Counting Day. On this Saturday morning, all the collected diapers and wipes are brought to Homeward Bound in trucks, and a group of volunteers gather together to load, separate sizes, and count the diapers. Volunteers can take tours of Homeward Bound, meet the Diaper Ladies in person, and enjoy the snacks and communal spirit this day brings.
Please consider joining us as we count up and unload this year's donations! It is a wonderful family event and a great activity for student leadership teams, sponsors, employees, or anyone else who would like to join us.
Homeward Bound is located at 2302 W. Colter St. in Phoenix (near 23rd Avenue north of Camelback Road).
This year's counting day is scheduled for Saturday February 23, 2013. Please contact Ginger Clayton if you plan on attending.
